Xuchang, known as Xuzhou in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province, approved by the Henan Provincial government as the central city of the Central Plains urban agglomeration region, the transportation and logistics hub city of the Central Plains Economic Zone, an important national advanced manufacturing base, and a famous historical and cultural city of Han and Wei dynasties.
