Gasket Material Selection

EPDM FDA	-54℃-150℃	1.It has good resistance to water,water vapor and superheated water.Water is a material with strong polarity,and EPDM rubber belongs to high molecular alkane,having excellent hydrophobicity,and applicable to gas-water and water-water exchange. 2.Good resistance to weather,ageing,ozone and coldness. 3.Resistance to olefine acid,weak base and salt corrosion. 4.Resistance to alcohol,acid(formic acid,acetic acid),oxidizing agent,detergent and ketone;good chemical mediator stability. Attention:EPDM rubber does not have resistance to the corrosion of oil and petroleum base products,or oxidizing acid,aromatic hydrocarbon,ester,benzene,alkyl or ammonia chemical mediator,and is not applicable to intermittent working condition.
EPDM-HT FDA (High temperature EPDM)	-54℃-165℃
SHT-EPDM(Super High Temperature EPDM)	-54℃-180℃
NBR(Nitrile) FDA	-30℃-110℃	1.Good corrosion resistance to mineral oil,animal and plant grease and aliphatic hydrocarbon,and applicable to oil-water exchange. 2.Resistance to alkali and non-oxidizing olefine acid corrosion. 3.Good resistance to heat and ageing. Applicable to oil-water exchange. Attention:butyronitrile rubber does not have resistance to the corrosion of oxidizing acid,aromatic hydrocarbon,ester,ketone,halogenated hydrocarbon and other strong solvent.When the temperature is on the high side,the corrosion rasistance will reduce greatly.
NBR(Nitrile)-HT	-30℃-130℃
HNBR	-60℃-150℃
VITON A	-29℃-180℃	1.Good high temperature resistance. 2.Resistance to oil and petroleum base products. 3.Resistance to all kinds of acid,alkali andsalt. 4.Resistance to chemical medicine and strongly corrosive medium. 5.Resistance to corrosion of aqua regia. Attention:because fluorine rubber is polar rubber,its physical and mechanical properties such as resilience and compression set,and resistance to superheated water and saturated vapor are relatively poor. It is not resistance to acetaldehyde,acetone,ammonia and other chemical medium.
VITON G	-29℃-200℃
Silicon	-100℃-230℃	1.Resistance to high and low temperature. 2.Excellent hydrophobicity. 3.Excellent insulativity.
Butyl	-54℃-150℃	1.Ultra-strong gas tightness. 2.Ultra-strong water resistance. 3.Excellent resistance to ageing. 4.Excellent chemical stability. 5.Super corrosion prevention ability.
